Cara Belajar Bahasa Inggris Oke - Rumus Passive Voice Beserta Contoh Kalimat. Mungkin tanpa sadar kita sudah pernah mendengar atau membaca contoh passive voice. Karena kalimat passive voice sering digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sama halnya seperti bahasa Indonesia, pengertian passive voice adalah kalimat pasif. Namun dengan mengetahui pengertian yang seperti itu tidaklah dapat membantu kita untuk mengerti. Kami akan memberikan pelajaran tentang passive voice yang detail namun dengan cara yang sederhana.

Di sekolah atau tempat kursus rumus passive voice banyak dipelajari oleh para siswa. Banyak cara yang dijelaskan oleh guru-guru senior dalam menjelaskan pengertian passive voice itu seperti apa. Dari memberikan contoh passive voice hingga memberikan soal-soal yang bertujuan untuk mengasah kemampuan murid. Namun terkadang kita lupa untuk memperhatikan hal-hal yang lebih sederhana dalam menjelaskan pengertian passive voice, sehingga passive voice lebih mudah untuk dipahami. Nah, dalam artikel kali ini, saya akan menjelaskan pengertian dan rumus passive voice secara detail dan tentunya dengan cara yang sederhana.

Kalau ada passive voice, maka sudah pasti ada active voice? Lantas apa perbedaan antara passive voice dan active voice? Passive voice adalah kalimat pasif sedangkan active voice adalah kalimat aktif -_- iyaa itu artinya adek -_-. Untuk menjawab lebih detail lagi, yuuk kita lihat penjelasan di bawah ini.

Rumus Passive Voice Beserta Contoh Kalimat Dalam Bahasa Inggris

Passive voice adalah kalimat pasif yang subjectnya dikenai pekerjaan atau kata kerjanya berawalan “di/ter”. Dalam bahasa Indonesia, tidak ada perubahan dalam merubah kalimat aktif (active) menjadi kalimat pasif (passive voice).
Berikut ini adalah cara membuat kalimat passive voice:
1. Kata kerja dalam kalimat aktifnya harus berupa transitive verb (membutuhkan object).
2. Object kalimat aktif menjadi subject kalimat pasif (dibalik).
3. Subject kalimat aktif menjadi by object dalam kalimat pasif.
4. Menggunakan pola dasar Auxiliary/tobe + Verb 3
    - Kalimat pasif selalu menggunakan V-3
    - Sebelum V-3 harus diberi to be
    - Apabila berbentuk pertanyaan maka subject diletakkan setelah to be yang pertama.
Contoh:
He cries everyday
(tidak bisa dipasifkan, karena kata kerjanya intransitive, tidak membutuhkan object).

Selanjutnya mari kita lihat contoh kalimat di bawah ini, bandingkan dengan kalimat yang di atas.

Pelajari perubahan yang terjadi dari kedua kalimat tersebut.

Yang perlu diperhatikan adalah perubahan to be dari kalimat aktif ke kalimat pasif. Perubahan auxiliary / to be mempengaruhi perubahan pada setiap tense dalam passive voice. jadi pada intinya adalah, kita harus mengetahui perubahan auxiliary/to be pada setiap tenses yang terjadi dalam passive voice / kalimat pasif. Berikut ini kita akan membahas perubahan auxiliary/to be pada setiap tenses. Perlu diperhatikan, bahwa penggunaan By Object (pronoun) dalam pasif voice tidaklah wajib. Terkadang malah tidak digunakan sama sekali, karena dalam passive voice, yang diprioritaskan adalah object / kejadian, bukan pelakunya. contoh: My car was stolen yesterday. dalam contoh tersebut, informasi yang ditekankan adalah kehilangan mobil atau mobilnya dicuri, bukan siapa yang mencuri mobilnya. jadi tidak perlu menggunakan by someone / thief.  karena memang sudah pasti yang mencuri itu ya pencuri hehe. you got it?? Pola Kalimat / Rumus Passive Voice

1. Simple Present Tense

Simple Present tense

S + tobe (is, am, are) + V-3

Contoh:
Aktif : My mother always cleans the floor every morning.
Pasif : The floor is always cleaned by my mother every morning.

Perlu diperhatikan untuk auxiliary/tobenya menyesuaikan dengan subject dari kalimat pasifnya, bukan subject kalimat aktif.

2. Simple Past Tense

Simple Past tense

S + tobe (was, were) + V-3

Contoh:
Aktif : Fadhila watched the movie in the theatre last night.
Pasif : The movie was watched by Fadhila in the theatre last night.

3. Present/Past Continuous Tense

Present/Past Continuous

S + (is, am, are) + being + V-3        (was, were)

Contoh:
Present continuous tense
Aktif : They are making a rainbow cake now.
Pasif : A rainbow cake is being made by them now

Note: Perhatikan perubahan tobe dari are (kalimat aktif) menjadi is (kalimat pasif). Karena, auxiliary/tobenya menyesuaikan dengan subject dari kalimat pasifnya, bukan subject kalimat aktif.

Past continuous tense
Aktif : She was buying some books last night.
Pasif : Some books were being bought by her last night.

4. Present/Past Perfect Tense

Present/past perfect tense

S + (have, has) + been + V-3            (had)

Contoh:
Present perfect tense
Aktif : The manager has interviewed some candidates
Pasif : Some candidates have been interviewed by the manager.

Past perfect tense
Aktif : Carroll had made a good decision to leave Liverpool.
Pasif : A good decision had been made by Carroll to leave Liverpool.

5. Modal Auxliary

Modal auxiliary*

Modals + be + V-3

*Modal auxiliary – will, shall, must, can, may (Present modal)
              would, should, could, might (Past modal)

Contoh:
 Aktif : Before I got an injury, I could climb Mount Rinjani.
 Pasif : Before I got an injury, Mount Rinjani could be climbed by me.

 Aktif : She should bring her phone to call her mom.
 Pasif : Her phone should be brought by her to call her mom.

 Aktif : They must obey the rules in this camp.
 Pasif : The rules must be obeyed by them in this camp.

6. ACCUSATIVE VERB

Accusative verb*

TO BE + V-3

Macam-macam accusative verb: PRAWAN L
(Plan, Require, Allow, Want/wait, Ask, Need, Like).

Perhatikan pola kalimat akusatif berikut ini:

Aktif	S + accusative verb + (object) + to V-1
Pasif	S + accusative verb + (object) + tobe V-3

Contoh:
Aktif : I asked my secretary to answer the call
Pasif : I asked the call to be answered by my secretary

Aktif : The headmaster requires the students to use the weekly uniform
Pasif  : The headmaster requires the weekly uniform to be used by the students

Note: Pada dasarnya, pola perubahannya sama dengan passive voice pada umumnya. Hanya saja, yang dipasifkan adalah kata kerja setelah accusative verb (lihat contoh yang ditulis tebal) disana ada perubahan subject dan object (dibalik), selebihnya hanya perubahan dari “to answer” dan “to use” (aktif) menjadi “to be answered” dan “to be used” (pasif).

3.       Present Perfect Tense

Contoh :

Aktif : She hasn't written the book

Pasif : The book hasn't been written by her

Aktif : I haven't written the book

Pasif : The book hasn't been written by me

4.       Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Aktif : S + have/has + not + been + V1-ing + O

5.       Simple Past Tense

Contoh :

Aktif : She didn't write a letter

Pasif : A letter wasn't written by her

6.       Past Continuous Tense

Aktif : S + to be (was, were) + not + V1-ing + O

Pasif : S + to be (was, were) + not + being + V3 + by + O

Contoh :

Aktif : She wasn't washing the car

Pasif : The car wasn't being washed by her

7.       Past Perfect Tense

Aktif : S + had + not + V3 + O

Pasif : S + had + not + been + V3 + by + O

Contoh :

Aktif : She hadn't washed the car

Pasif : The car hadn't been washed by her

8.       Past Perfect Continuous Tense

Aktif : S + had + not + been + V1-ing + O

Pasif : S + had + not + been + being + V3 + by + O

9.       Simple Future Tense

Aktif : S + will + not + V1 + O

10.   Future Continuous Tense

Aktif : S + will + not + be + V1-ing + O
